Hylpers is committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring a secure, transparent, and compliant environment for all users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, the Cybercrime Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021), and other applicable laws, as well as international privacy standards including requirements for platforms using Google AdSense. 

By accessing and using the Hylpers platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

 

I. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following personal data to provide and improve our services: 

  1. Account Information
  • Full Name 
  • Email Address 
  • Phone Number (required for identity verification, platform security, and notifications) 
  • Emirates ID (required for identity verification) 
  • Profile Picture (a clear and true image required for identity verification) 
  • Payment & Beneficiary Account Details (via Telr) 

Note: Users must update their Emirates ID within two weeks of expiration. Failure to comply will result in temporary account suspension until the updated ID is submitted. 

These requirements apply to both Service Seekers and Service Providers. 

  1. Location Data
  • GPS location data when permitted by the user for service accuracy. 
  1. Payment Information
  • All transactions are securely processed via Telr. Hylpers does not store card details directly. 
  1. Cookies and Tracking Technologies (Google AdSense)

We use cookies to: 

  • Store user preferences. 
  • Provide customized advertising (through Google AdSense). 
  • Analyze traffic and usage trends on our site. 

Google AdSense & Cookies 
Hylpers uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service that uses cookies to serve ads based on users’ prior visits to this website and other websites on the Internet. 

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to our website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to Hylpers and/or other sites on the Internet. 

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. 

Hylpers does not have access to or control over cookies used by third-party advertisers, including Google. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these third-party ad services for more information about their data practices.

II. Data Confidentiality & Communication Policy

  1. Internal Use and Protection
  • We do not sell, share, rent, or lease personally identifiable information (including credit/debit card data). 
  • All data is encrypted and access is restricted to authorized personnel. 
  1. Platform Communication Restrictions
  • Service Providers and Seekers must communicate only through the Hylpers messaging system. 
  • Direct sharing of personal contacts (phone, email, social handles) is prohibited. 

 

III. Data Retention & Security 

  • Data is retained only as long as necessary for legal or operational purposes. 
  • Security measures include MFA, encrypted servers, and firewalls. 
  • Data breaches will be reported within 72 hours. 

 

IV. User Rights

You have the right to: 

  • Access your personal data. 
  • Correct any inaccurate data. 
  • Delete your data (subject to legal exceptions). 
  • Opt out of marketing communications. 

Requests are processed within 30 days of submission. 

 

V. Third-Party Links and External Policies

Our platform may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., Google, Stripe, Telr). 
We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please refer to their respective policies. 

 

VI. Children’s Privacy

The Hylpers platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from minors. 

 

VII. Do Not Track Signals 

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. The Hylpers platform does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, you can set your preferences using the cookie and advertising settings provided above.
